great stay with a couple of room improvements
The staff's attentiveness made our stay enjoyable. The atmospheric decor added a unique charm to our experience. The quiet surroundings allowed for restful nights despite being close to attractions.
The decor felt slightly dated in our room.

The room was super comfy and spacious, definitely a highlight. Bed felt like a cloud! Everything was clean and had those nice little touches like a solid kettle and good lamps. Only downside was the bathroom was a bit cramped and there was some noise from the plumbing at night. But overall, solid stay.

the bathroom decor could use a little update and some noise from the plumbing at night was a bit annoying.

perfect base for exploring brecon and its stunning parks
We enjoyed our stay with a delightful breakfast and were just a short walk from both brecon cathedral and the hours cafe bookshop & deli, making it perfect for our leisurely city strolls and park views between explorations. as a couple, the charm of the place added to our experience, though we found the shower pressure a bit weak.

Loved my recent stay! The breakfast was a highlight—a generous, tasty full English that hit the spot each morning. The cozy room was spotlessly clean and had a comfy bed that made it hard to leave. I’ll definitely be back for the same wonderful experience!

The charming decor had a delightful vintage appeal that enveloped me like a cozy blanket. The accessible layout made it easy for me to navigate the hallways, allowing me to admire the quaint features without feeling rushed.
A drying room for wet clothes would be nice.

we had a really great stay at the beacons guest house. room 15 was spacious and spotlessly clean, with lovely little touches like cotton wool and nice hand soap. the breakfast was super tasty and the staff were so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome. there's plenty of parking at the back which was a huge plus for us. perfect location for walking into brecon town too!
the bathroom felt a bit small and we wished the wifi was a bit better, especially since we were on the top floor.
